Golden Acorn Winners! Staci is best visible at Maywood for her work with the Walkabout program but her dedication to us goes far beyond that one program and this year. Here at Maywwod she serves as the Vice President of Volunteers and is on the Nominating Committee. Staci also sits on the board for the Newcastle PTA yet still finds time at Maywood to help out with the magazine sales, All School Math program and business days. Although this is Kimberly’s third Golden Acorn it is just as hard earned as the first two. Kimberly has spent this past year as PTSA President revamping the Maywood PTSA in order to meet the Washington State PTA “Best Practices” in all areas of our PTSA. Her unending energy, amazing organizational skills and an eye for detail are much appreciated.

PTSA General Membership Meetings:
PTSA General Membership Meetings are held only three times during the school year. All business of the PTSA is conducted at these meetings so it is very important that our members attend. These meetings start at 7:00pm in the school library. Dates of the next two meetings are listed below:
April 20: Business: -elect new officers -approve preliminary budget
